Ficus Green Island: Is a typical ficus plant that can thrive in an eastern sill or window. Excellent indoor plants. These gorgeous beauties are planted in a white terracota pot to enhance the deep emerald of the leaves.
Light: Needs partial sunlight and can be kept near eastern windows, under bright lights as focus plants indoors.
Soil: Sady loam, excellent drainage.
Watering: Water every alternate day.
Feeding: An all purpose feed once a month is needed.
Repotting: Is needed once the plant overgrows the pot. Repot to bigger container in spring.
Speed of Growth: Moderate.
The leaf tips turn brown in case of overwatering. Leaf dropping during acclimatisation in a new place is quite common in ficus plants.
