Ficus is a good houseplant and will thrive in a well lit place - a west balcony, or in partial shade outside. We have planted this in a huge clay pot in blue (outdoor weather proof) that will enhance its stunning look.

Light : Needs good light - a west facing balcony or a well lit interior space.

Soil : Loamy, with excellent drainage. 

Watering : Water every alternate day.

Feeding : A weak all purpose feed once a month is more than sufficient.

Re-potting : This is not normally needed, but if the plant has outgrown its pot it's a good idea to repot in Spring.

Speed of Growth : Slow.
